Why good presentation skills are essential

When an audience watches someone talking on video their focus is purely on what and how something is being said, the filming process doesn't cross their minds. So, If that filming process is causing a new presenter to feel anxious or they're unsure of what to do in front of the camera the audience associates that uncertainty with what's being said and not the performance nerves.

In short, you look like you don't know what you're talking about, you loose credibility and authority even though you may be an expert on the subject matter.
