3 Tips to make sure you get work as a TV Presenter

TV Presenter Training

There are so many job opportunities in Presenting, but how do you get work? The reality is that most Presenter jobs are filled without being advertised and it's all about making sure your show reel lands on the decision maker's desk at the right time.

Here are just 3 things that I cover in my step by step career strategy as part of our TV Presenter training:

1. Make sure your show reel along with your email/letter is relevant to the person you are sending it to and is personal. NEVER copy and paste!

2. Keep producers and casting directors updated, keep sending them your CV and reel when you have something new to tell them. It's all about your reel landing at the right time. I was recently speaking to a Producer who told me they were surprised how few people 'pester' them with their reels and updates.

3. Work on building relationships, networking and getting noticed. Although there are some great casting websites out there and Presenters do get work from them, most Presenter jobs are filled before then. Networking and getting a good reputation for yourself is essential for any career growth.

These are just 3 tips from my step by step career strategy that we go through on day 3 of our 5 Day Masterclass to make sure you know where and how to get work. I also coach on a 1 to 1 basis.
