IS IT FOR YOU?

Are you serious about making TV Presenting a career? Then you'll need drive, tenacity and the ability to adapt at a moments notice.  Turning Television presenting into a full time career is very achievable if you're willing to work, but if you're expecting to quickly become rich and famous then this is not for you.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

To give attendees a clear understanding of the key elements needed for effective and engaging TV Presenting/Journalism as well as a full knowledge of the tools and equipment used in a TV Studio.
Delegates will  have time and direction to master the techniques and skills needed to be a fully prepared TV Presenter talent.

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

Training starts at at 10 am each morning, where the first module will be explained, demonstrated and discussed until all attendees have a full understanding. Our trainers will then direct each candidate with an on-screen assignment and give  advice, feedback and recommendations to each individual before re shooting the exercise. The course finishes at 5 pm, however please be prepared to work later as we generally keep going until we get it right.

FAQ

Q: Do I need experience?

A: No, you need passion and drive.

Q: Can anyone be a TV Presenter?

A: If you can speak and be understood, remember what you're talking about or read a teleprompter script, then yes, bearing in mind that the journey to success may be a long one.

Q: What are the average earnings for a new TV Presenter?

A: This is a difficult one because many presenting jobs are on a freelance basis and the fees vary enormously but for a new TV Presenter starting a full time position you might expect anything from £30,000 to £50,000 per year.
